Peer-to-Peer Suicide Prevention Grants – Application Opens in July

Starting in July 2020, high schools in Wisconsin are eligible to apply for peer-to-peer suicide prevention grants through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI). Grants are available for public, private, and tribal high schools. Grants may be up to $1,000 per school and may be renewed up to three times.
As you consider the opportunity to apply, one resource to review is Hope Squad. The Hope Squad program is in more than 800 schools in 25 states and Canada and offering discounts to Wisconsin schools along with free training through a partnership with the Elmbrook School District.
