About Us

The Coalition for Expanding School-Based Mental Health engages in many activities to advocate and advance expanded comprehensive mental health initiatives in schools around the state.  These activities include educating decision-makers about policy and funding needs to support expanding school-based mental health programs; hosting webinars and convenings to connect our coalition community; supporting training for clinicians to advance therapeutic care of children and adolescents; and disseminating information through action alerts, e-news, and our podcast.

The Coalition is supported by grants and in-kind contributions of our Coalition community. The Coalition Board is comprised of representatives including parent peers, mental health providers, schools and state partners who reflect the regional and diverse interests of our statewide network of over 1,000 mental health providers, school staff, policymakers, parents and other supporters of advancing comprehensive school mental health in Wisconsin to deliver healthier school communities and student success..
